This Saturday sees Swedish Techno TitansTM invade Room 2 of Fabric, with Adam “Slayer” Beyer, Joe “Joe Mull” Mull, Aril “Stickle” Brikha (Live), and Par “For The Course” Grindvik combining forces to rape and pillage our senses with a smörgåsbord of sonic mayhem. This lineup is guaranteed to bludgeon us into submission with a veritable Mjolnir-esque hammer of techno, until we are berserking out of our boxes. Ikea. perhaps, if we are very lucky, this massively high density of Swedishness might summon the one and only…Techno Viking!

DJ Omar is also known as Ole-Martin Vilberg of Oslo, Norway. We met last year at T Bar and ended up having a crazy fun night along with his lovely girlfriend Tonje, ace friend Stian, and a large bottle of some obscure Italian spirit that Norwegians apparently like getting arseholed on. We also shrieked ’skrævsylte!’ quite a lot, good luck googling that… anyway, he let slip he was a DJ and the end result is that I blagged some mixes from him, of which this is one. He has a new mix coming up soon (currently being polished to a shiny lustre) and we’ll be sure to put it on here for your listening/dancing around the room like a mad idiot pleasure.
